Closed Die Steel Forgings
- Corestar Products manufactures precision closed die steel forgings ranging from 0.1 kg. (0.22 lbs) to 100 kg. (200 lbs) on various capacity forging presses and hammers, all located within Pune, India.
- Corestar Products has developed a special closed die steel forging process to manufacture thin section components, with capability to produce sections as thin as 4 mm (0.16"). Using this special process, Corestar Products has helped customers convert stampings and sheet metal parts into closed die steel forgings, increasing component strength and helping them pass critical crash tests.
- Corestar Products has experience in manufacturing forgings for the oil & gas, automotive, mining and general engineering industries and has helped customers reduce prices through reduction in forging input weights. Various grades of alloy steel, carbon steel and stainless steel are utilized.
- All die design and validation is performed in-house by experienced engineers, enabling complete control on the forging process inputs and outputs.
